The nation Ghana to launch an online passport application very soon!

Ghana has planned to launch an online passport application system very soon for people to be able to get the passport application from an online base either at home or at office.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, would start an online passport application for people that are acquiring for passport by the end of this year and this will help people to access their passport application online.

Mr. Alexander Grant Ntrakwa has declared it that the process to go through in obtaining the passport was what is described as a nightmare to some people and some even call the passport office for them to make it less awkward for them to get the passport and this was said by Mr. Alexander Grant Ntrakwa during a press conference held at Accra on the day of Thursday.

With the process of acquiring and renewing of passports, it was a great burden on Ghanaians and as a result they find it difficult in acquiring and renewal of passport which they complained about. Some even termed it to be that, it is suspected corruption and unnecessary official processes for getting a passport.

Well, Mr. Alexander Grant Ntrakwa knows all such challenges will be reduced if there is the implementation of this new program for people to acquire passport application online.
He further on explained that with this, an applicant will be given a specific date to come to the Migration office for further processes after they submitted the electronic forms.

Mr. Alexander Grant Ntrakwa said that the idea is far advanced for the office to deploy online. With the trial project, it was done with NITA as far back as 17 December, 2014 and this made 6 applicants to get their passports within the next 3 days when applied online.

A committee is being chaired by the Chief Director to have a discussion with some banks to deploy on some platform.
And as soon as they get the go ahead, then there will be a timeline for the passport application to be available online by the end of the year to make it easier for everyone to get the application online.

The National Democratic Congress youth leader at the party's branch in Oyarifa has made his decision to withdrawn in a way to support His Excellency Presedient John Dramani Mahama as he is going for his second term in the December 2016 election.
Mr. George Boateng on his withdrawing from the contesting of the presidential seat in the tional democratic congress party against His Excellency Prez. Mahama, has changed his mind to stay back and rather give his maximum support to Prez. Mahama as they may all expect victory in the December 2016 general election for the national democratic congress.

Mr. George Boateng popularly known as the youth leader for the National Democratic Congress party branch in Oyarifa, has made his clear statement that he has purely made a decision with the sort of consultations that are received from his advisers who gave him this special advise.
This is to step back and rather give the maximum support to the current president His Excellency John Mahama.

With an interview made by the media with Mr. George Boateng, the NDC youth leader for Oyarifa, on Thursday the 10th of September, he gave a talk that with the step he made to contest for the position of the presidential seat has really become a controversial when the General Secretary of the party, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, criticized and actually dismissed the officers that issued the forms out to the freight forwarder on the day of Monday, the 31st of the month of August.
