The designer of Ghana's flag, Mrs. Theodosia Okoh, born on June 14, 1922 in Asuogyaman a district in Eastern Region.
Mrs. Theodosia Okoh being the fourth (4) born of her mother, they were born in total of eight (8) to Rev. Asihene. Mrs. Theodosia Okoh being the fourth born of her parents, she was taken through religious ways by the religious and royal family of her.
According to source of information brought to our news desk, Mrs. Theodosia Okoh had her elementary education at the Asante-Akyem Agogo being a town found in Ashanti Region. She later on went for a teacher training at the Agogo Presbyterian Training College where she took her training and became a teacher teaching in all her lifetime.
Mrs. Theodosia Okoh developed the habit from childhood to leave an indelible mark in the heart and minds of people.
That's probably some short description about this brave and courage woman, Mrs. Theodosia Okoh.
Mrs. Theodosia Okoh took the brave and courage all the way to design the Ghana flag which was in the year 1957, but was adopted and reinstated in the year 1966. One fact about the flag was that, it was documented to be the second flag after the flag of Ethiopia.
