It is just proper at this moment to congratulate the new Ghana Football Association president Mr. Kurt Okraku for his hard won victory at the just ended GFA elections.
As an entertainment person and football fan, I find it an important part of my everyday life to give the following advice on how to use entertainment to sustain the interest of football among the fans and also increase attendants of spectators in our stadia.
To start with, I would be happy if the GFA can quickly seat down with stakeholders of MUSIGA and decide on how best to revive the interest of Ghanaians in our local game.
I made the above statement because about 99% of football fans are equally music lovers. The question is who doesn't like music?
The 'new GFA' must as a matter of necessity and urgency employ the services of music stars before the start of games to help increase the attendance of spectators, something clubs bitterly complain about.
To add to the above, each premier league club can be associated with a top music star to help promote their activities on social media on match days and also be present at the stadium at least 50% of the season.
I will keep the rest of my advice for another write up but for now I will be looking forward to seeing the new GFA take a thing or two from this piece.
